Benedictine Living Community of Shakopee LLC, Shakopee’s newest senior community broke ground the beginning of January 2019. The community will be located on 9.18 acres at 1705 Windemere Way. The 300,000 square foot community will consist of 116 independent living, 43 assisted living and 24 memory care apartment homes and is expected to open summer 2020.
Benedictine Living Community of Shakopee is owned and managed by Benedictine Health System (BHS), a mission-based nonprofit health system based in Duluth, Minnesota. BHS currently has more than 40 communities located in Minnesota, Wisconsin, North Dakota, Missouri, and Illinois. EDI is the development consultant for the project.
